PERSONAL CARE AIDE

Individuals who are interested in Personal Care Aide Training will have the opportunity to improve patients’ quality of life and ensure that they receive the best care possible. Personal Care Aide training at Heart Harmony Home Health & Services gives you the skills you need to work with patients and care for their individual needs.

MEDICATION AIDE

Students are taught the basic knowledge and skills needed to perform medication administration safely and effectively. This program qualifies participants to take the State Registered Medication Aide Exam. The training will prepare an individual for a position as a Medication Aide.

This class includes hands on training and a clinical experience that has students discovering, analyzing, and learning from experience. Our goal as educators is to spark our students’ interest in learning the course material.  

  • 32 hour & 32 hour refresher

G-TUBE

This course is designed to teach about enteral feeding tubes and inform healthcare professionals the correct procedures for administering feedings, medication, and performing route maintenance of the enteral feeding tubes. The course will provide the healthcare professional with the tools necessary to recognize various feeding methods, as well as, methods to prevent clogging of the feeding tube and will help identify issues that may compromise the patient safety.

  • 1 hour

BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN

This course is geared toward anyone with reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens as such as: Correctional officers, Childcare workers, Security Guards, Maintenance workers, School Personnel, Hotel House Keepers, Health care professionals and Emergency responders.

  • 1 hour

There is a required registration fee DUE one week prior to the first day of class. This fee is non refundable. REMAINING BALANCE DUE on or BEFORE THE LAST DAY OF COURSE; CERTIFICATE WILL BE GIVEN AFTER FULL BALANCE IS PAID. Must be able to pass background check.
